Challenge
The energy transition and the restoration of biodiversity are among the greatest challenges of our time. While many technical solutions for the energy transition are already known, the social transition often proves to be the greatest challenge. Behavioral change and reconciling different interests are crucial to actually bringing projects to fruition.
Restoring biodiversity also requires concrete action. Organizations are becoming increasingly adept at measuring and improving their impact on biodiversity. The knowledge, guidelines, and tools are available – the challenge now lies primarily in translating them into policy, measures, and collaboration.
Approach
As a facilitator, we create a clear and broadly supported foundation for new initiatives. We guide processes, build coalitions, and strengthen networks to accelerate the sustainability of the built environment and the restoration of biodiversity.
In addition, we monitor political and social developments to capitalize on opportunities in policy and regulations. We develop communication strategies, participatory processes, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
We also help organizations operationalize biodiversity using recognized frameworks and in alignment with reporting requirements. In doing so, we examine both negative impacts and opportunities to actively enhance biodiversity.

Biodiversity recovery
We help companies put biodiversity into practice and translate it into policies and effective measures. In doing so, we work with internationally recognized frameworks and, through the Deltaplan Biodiversity Recovery program office, contribute to improved measurement methods and collective action.

We accelerate the transition to a more sustainable built environment by connecting and engaging governments, the business community, and society. We facilitate processes, build coalitions, and develop communication and engagement strategies to foster support and ensure an effective approach.
