Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods is a Dutch producer and supplier of milk powders and dairy ingredients. With three factories and 900 dairy farmers, Vreugdenhil has become Europe's largest producer of whole milk powder. Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods' ambition is to produce climate neutrally by 2029. To realise this ambition, insight in the value chain is important. Vreugdenhil therefore asked for our help in visualising the value the company has in the chain for its customers, employees and the world.

We illustrated Vreugdenhil's value chain with an appropriate drawing style. From the suppliers and the production process to the customer and the impact in society. Each link represents the most important goals and results of the past year. We designed the visualisation in 2015 and have since updated it yearly with the latest results. The value chain has had a prominent place in the online annual report 2017, and in the reception areas of the two production sites for years.
