Circular packaging
The transition towards a circular economy without litter requires the use of sustainable materials for (food) packaging. We help clients with determining the consequences of new packaging legislations for their packaging portfolio. We have the knowledge, know the stakeholders, the societal discussions and the legislations in the Netherlands and other European member states. Together, we explore and develop strategies to use more sustainable materials. We do this by providing packaging advice, creating a packaging policy and by supporting with communication.
We believe in the power of collaboration within the packaging world, which motivates us to help parties develop innovative platforms and alliances.
What we offer
Packaging strategy and implementation
We provide expert advice on possibilities to make packaging more sustainable, such as reduction, reuse or recycling. We also support in the implementation processes. This includes, for example, implementing reuse strategies or creating technical files relating to sustainability requirements.
SUP-scan
The Single Use Plastics (SUP) legislation has been in force since 2021. We support companies by determining its implications. With SUP-scans, we determine which products are affected by the legislation and what the next steps are.
Communication
We help companies with internal communication and (marketing) communication for customers and suppliers regarding their packaging policy.
Policy monitoring and analysis
We closely monitor the regulations in the field of packaging and waste regulation. This includes the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and the sustainability requirements. We keep organisations informed about the latest developments and its impact on their practices.
Facilitating collaborations
Making significant strides in sustainability is not a solo effort. Collaboration among supply chain parties helps to achieve more impactful innovations. We facilitate collaborative partnerships by developing communication tools and organizing gatherings. For instance, we are the communication partner of PlasticPact NL and knowledge partner of the KIDV.
Stakeholder dialogue
We organize events and bilateral meetings with stakeholders and policymakers for our clients. Through these activities, we shed light on the client’s position to relevant parties and attempt to forge alliances.
