Schuttelaar & Partners have helped combine the impulses of Regiodeal Foodvally and the central government to transition to a sustainable and healthy food system. We co-developed and launched this program in 2020 together with the clients - Province of Utrecht/Province of Gelderland/Region Foodvalley - and over twenty parties involved.

Responding to specific nutritional needs

Based on desk research and discussing with involved parties, we identified relevant projects and stakeholders, and six work packages were proposed. These address specific nutritional needs for people in various stages of life and for people with various conditions, as well as the food environment in which people reside.

The work packages were developed into a detailed project book, outlining the plans with potential participants and stakeholders. Next, these packages were elaborated and prepared for launch. To this end, Schuttelaar & Partners provided content for, among other things, the implementation programme, a monitoring programme, and a progress report, along with a governance proposal. In spring 2021 the Regiodeal Foodvalley was successfully launched.
