Measuring biodiversity footprint
Biodiversity is essential for maintaining ecosystems and therefore a healthy living environment. Companies also want to contribute to this, but often get stuck in drawing up a strategy for this. What can companies do to promote biodiversity? And a better question: how?
ESG
Many companies are preparing for the CSRD, a piece of legislation that requires companies to report on their material themes on Environment, Social & Governance. Biodiversity and ecosystems are (often) part of this.
Science Based Targets Network
Our experts on biodiversity and ESG have joined forces to support companies on this topic. To be better informed about the latest tools, it is valuable to participate in a network with a lot of knowledge. That is why Schuttelaar & Partners has registered with Science Based Targets Network (SBTN)! A platform that develops methods and resources to formulate science-based targets for nature. These methods and resources are now also mentioned in the ESRS (reporting standards for the CSRD) for various themes.
By participating in SBTN and using the tools offered, we support companies to map their biodiversity footprint, set objectives and monitor progress. With the aim: to make biodiversity transparent for companies and to create a healthy living environment. And hopefully we will see species such as the house sparrow, the common toad or the orange tip more often.
