Getting started with due diligence
We provided companies with concrete tools to embed due diligence in their policy and practice.
Through customized in-company training, consisting of online e-learning and a physical session, we brought due diligence to life within organizations. The training clarified how companies can integrate due diligence into existing processes. During the physical session, we worked with participants to formulate action points that could be applied immediately. This approach resulted in:
- Greater support within the various departments of the organization;
- Increased knowledge about due diligence;
- Concrete follow-up actions, such as adjusting internal procedures.
By tailoring the physical training to the specific context of each company, the content remained recognizable and applicable. In this way, we provided a direct and practical response to RVO's request to make due diligence a structural part of business operations.
From analysis to customized training
To develop an effective training program, we first conducted extensive desk research into relevant tools and organizations in the field of international corporate social responsibility. We wrote clear, practical texts and designed an interactive e-learning program in H5Mag, including quizzes, theory, homework assignments, and concrete tips.
Prior to the training, we conducted quick scans at each participating company. This allowed us to map out their current situation and formulate a central question for the training together. This enabled us to personalize the content for each organization.
In addition to developing the content, we also provided a number of training sessions ourselves, including for A beautiful story, Primeale United, and Hesselink. During these sessions, we worked with the companies to identify concrete follow-up steps. Afterwards, we organized follow-up sessions to guide the implementation.
With this approach, we have worked with RVO to provide companies with practical tools for integrating due diligence.
