I’m Lorena, what you would call a true European at heart and a passionate activist of European Affairs. Enthusiastic about the EU and speaking 5 languages, my drive falls within European projects that can create impact at local level bringing the agri-food sustainability closer to the citizens. Ecosystem building and international network platforms are my favourite specialties.
About Lorena
At the core, I’m an international economist with a vast experience in EU law and EU funding programmes. Worked for local, regional and EU administrations in Galicia and Brussels including 6 years at the support unit set up by DG MARE (EU Commission) to implement the Community-led local development program of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund. As one of the partners in S&P I’m leading the agri-food team in Brussels. I also founded the Young Professional Network a platform meant to support young people in their career development.
