European energy transition
Given rising energy prices and their impact on Europe as a whole, the concept of an online energy event organised and hosted by Schuttelaar & Partners was born in November 2021. The European Commission wants to take the discussion on the European energy transition further. Schuttelaar & Partners supports YPN in organising stakeholder dialogue and citizen engagement on this topic.
Online event highlights
Schuttelaar & Partners used its European energy network to bring together different representatives of the energy industry in a panel of speakers. We gathered speakers from Belgium, Austria, Greece, Italy, and the Netherlands, who each gave their insights on different aspects of our energy transition. The keynote speaker was Brendan Devlin, advisor at the European Commission's Directorate-General for Energy. More than 100 attendees registered for this event. Events with impact
We organized several events, in addition to the online webinar, featuring a variety of topics. For instance, we hosted a networking drink in April 2022 at Place du Luxembourg, the center of the EU district. Furthermore, together with Maria Walsh of the European Parliament, we organized an event on mental health in June. Lastly, two events were held on sustainable food and food labeling.
