Embedding sustainability issues within the organisation
Following the double materiality analysis, it is important that sustainability is given a clear place within the organisation, among the teams that are also at the helm. This means that we make clear agreements about goals, roles and responsibilities. The action holders – those who own a material topic – will work on it, but the rest of the organisation will also contribute.
What we do
We provide support in selecting the right action holders and bundling sustainability topics. Together with the action holders, we identify existing policies, initiatives and actions and determine what additional measures are needed. This allows us to optimally align with the company's current position and ensure that it has a targeted policy.
Together with the action holders, we map out which policies, initiatives and actions are already in place. In this way, we align ourselves optimally with where the company already stands.
The problem we solve
Without a clear division of roles and prioritisation, sustainability remains fragmented and insufficiently focused on impact. This leads to duplication of effort and insufficient progress. Furthermore, policy is not always clearly defined on paper, and there is insufficient insight into which activities in the various countries and locations contribute to the achievement of objectives. Policy and actions must also comply with legislation and regulations, such as the ESRS standards from the CSRD, and other international guidelines.
