Stakeholder dialogue and advisory report
We assisted the Taskforce in creating the advisory report "Space for Entrepreneurship and Innovation”, as well as providing additional support in stakeholder coordination, the writing process and visualising complex information.
Impact for a sustainable livestock industry
The advisory report describes the need to innovate by increasing sustainability in livestock farming thereby giving innovation a major 'boost'. Among other things, it is important that entrepreneurs are given room to innovate on their farms and benefit from this. The advisory report also outlines the transition to a system where actual emissions are controlled. These actual emissions can be measured in the future with sensor technology and associated data systems.
The advisory report has been accepted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV), the Ministry of Infrastructure & Water Management (I&W), the provinces (IPO), the municipalities (VNG) and the representatives of the various livestock sectors. The next step is to proceed with the development of a new licensing, supervision, and enforcement system and to start regional pilots.
