At S&P, I have the pleasure of combining daily my three greatest passions; health, nutrition and sustainability. The goal here is to create a future-proof and healthy food system. I do this as an expert Nutri-Score by sharing my knowledge and advising on the use of this front-of-packaging label. Together with my colleagues, I also help our clients with various sustainability issues and communication about them. Here, I look specifically at the link between health and sustainability.

About Valerie

While working as a hospital dietitian, I discovered that I not only want to make people healthier but also the world we live in. During my masters in Nutrition and Health at Wageningen University, I had a focus on sustainability and the impact of food on both human health and climate. Personally, I am an energetic and passionate consultant food transition who enjoys using her expertise and communication skills to help our clients make their businesses more sustainable. Ultimately, by doing so, I want to make the healthy and sustainable food choice, the easy choice for consumers. After all, we can only create impact towards a healthy world together.
