A film on sustainable agriculture

As a result of a ever growing world population, food production will need to increase by 50% by 2030. In this light, the challenge lies in ensuring an abundant and sustainable supply of healthy food. With the help of the SAI (Sustainable Agriculture Initiative) Platform, international food manufacturers are working together to tackle this issue by intensifying their innovation efforts in the area of sustainable agriculture. In order to gain attention and support for the initiative, a short film was made highlighting the SAI Platform’s achievements thus far. It includes an interview with Paul Polman, CEO of Unilever and Hans Jöhr, Head of Agriculture at Nestlé, and provides a concrete illustration of their story filmed at a French dairy farm.
